For both kids and parents, the rollercoaster of childhood has its ups and downs. If the routine challenges of growing up become too difficult to manage, it?s worth taking a closer look.

Warning Signs that a Child May Be in Trouble
  • Extreme mood swings, frequent fighting, or outbursts of anger
  • Development of rebellious, confrontational or hostile relationships with parents, siblings, teachers and other non-family authority figures
  • Drop in grades and poor attendance
  • Change or lack of interest in hygiene, grooming or appearance
  • New friendships with older or unacceptable persons
  • Interest in drug culture and its paraphernalia
  • Stealing or excessive requests for money
